Michael Aram's Lotus & Lily Collection is highly symbolic. For centuries, the lotus flower has been recognized by ancient cultures as a representation of spiritualism and healing due to its ability to blossom in a variety of environments, from clear ponds to muddy marshes. In Michael's collection, the motif is expressed in a treatment that is both whimsical and elegant.

"There's something so inspiring to me about the relationship between the lotus and the lily pad. The idea of the flower reaching upwards to the heavens and the lily pad reaching down through the water to the earth is a beautiful allegory of yin and yang, male and female, sacred and secular."
